December 29, 2019

back to blog

I don’t know about you, but 2019 seems to have FLOWN by. In just a few days we will be looking at the start of 2020 and a new decade! Where did the time go? I’ll tell you where it went….it went on meeting and making new friends and losing some old ones, it went on new experiences and exciting vacations and relaxing staycations, it went on mistakes made and hard lessons learned, and it went on joyous occasions and sad ones.

Many think of a new year as an opportunity to resolve to do better in some areas, but we all know that won’t happen without a written plan, which I KNOW you have! You can’t get married without one. If you choose to, you have to plan a location, who to invite and how much to spend, along with a HUGE list of other items. Look in many bridal magazines or online and you’ll find any number of tools to help you plan and budget for your big day. The key is to use the one that works best for you! For me, planning gives short and long term guidance and a HUGE sense of accomplishment when I check a task off as completed. That checkmark makes me do a happy dance, which motivates me to move on to the next task on my list, and like you, I have a LONG list of tasks for 2020.

So, stay tuned for some MAJOR announcements regarding Party Favors Ink in early 2020. Mary Kay Ash, the founder of Mary Kay Cosmetics, once said “If you think you can, you can. And if you think you can’t, you’re right.”

May the upcoming year and decade be full of all of the “you can’s”, you can think of!

XoXo

Lynne
